Meet Our staff

It has been my privilege of serving as the pastor of Post Falls Baptist Church since January 2020, but there is more to the story…

I was raised in a Bible preaching Baptist Church, and personally trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior in June 1990. Shortly after that time, I surrendered my life to preach the Gospel, and have been able to serve in a variety of ministries for over 30 years. My wife, Beth, and I were married in 1997, and then moved to Mississippi where we served full-time at County Line Baptist Church as an assistant pastor and youth director. During my time there, I was able to complete degrees in Bible and Social Science. In late 2001 God moved us back to North Idaho where we again became members of Post Falls Baptist Church, the church where my father, Bill Hohenstreet, served as pastor since February 1991.

In March 2008 God allowed me to serve as the founding pastor of Zion Baptist Church in Post Falls, ID. Zion Baptist Church was blessed to see many people trust Christ as their Savior and begin to faithfully serve Him in and through our Church.

Following the death of my father in September 2018, Post Falls Baptist Church found themselves without a pastor for the first time in over 27 years. In the months following Pastor Bill’s death, Post Falls Baptist and Zion Baptist began to discuss the possibility of a church merger. Post Falls Baptist called me to be their pastor in January 2020, and by God’s grace and the diligent work of the church people the merger became a reality in March 2020.
